Guest House Re-Opening - COVID 19
Posted on Jun 7th, 2020
Archuleta County and the State of Colorado have announced the lifting of some restrictions relating to operating guidelines for local businesses including rental properties. Considering these changes, the Board of Directors for the Association has decided to allow a controlled re-opening of the Guest House beginning immediately.
The following restrictions and requirements will apply:
- Owners must submit a signed COVID-19 Release Waiver document for each member of the group staying in the Guest House before any reservation will be confirmed. This waiver should be submitted with the deposit check at least 30 days prior to arrival.
- Due to the increased deep-cleaning and disinfecting requirements, the one-time cleaning fee will be increased to $120.
- There must be a minimum gap of 48 hours between reservations to allow sufficient time for proper cleaning and disinfecting. The website Calendar will be updated to reflect the nights that will be unavailable for reservations.
- Current reservation policies will still apply with check-in time no earlier than 3:00 pm on the date of arrival and check-out time no later than 11:00 am on date of departure.
- All members of your group will be expected to follow the guidelines published by the State of Colorado concerning the re-opening of rental properties:
- Guests should wash their hands frequently with soap and water and/or use hand sanitizer.
- Guests should wear cloth face coverings in public throughout Colorado. Most businesses in Pagosa Springs strongly encourage the use of masks.
- Guests should maintain physical distancing of at least 6 feet from people not in their group/household while in Colorado.
- Guests are encouraged to take their shoes off when entering the property.
- Guests must cancel their stay if they are sick or have been in close contact with someone who is sick with COVID-19 symptoms in the 14 days before their stay.
